And I hope it works. I cannot understand why Fred Thompson is not doing better in the polls. He is more conservative than most of the field, he is thoughtful, and he lacks the unattractive ambition that turns me off about some of his rivals.
I’d like a President who is a little lazy. We do not send these guys to Washington to be ambitious.

Agreed. He should be the #1 guy. Given all the controversy surrounding Dr. Paul now, and the fact that NH proved he won’t win, I’m forced to think of a #2, and I’d have to say Thompson.
