His parenthetical postscript is noteworthy as well:

Modest though it may be. I would vote for him on Super Tuesday but I am a registered Conservative. No fun for me.

Too late to switch your registration, I take it? What state are you in?

Never mind on my question of your state of residence. I looked at the profiles and see you are in Pennsylvania. You have plenty of time, Bill!

Registration deadline in PA is March 24th. Now get busy!

Actually, I am in Rochester New York. In New York you need to register a great deal in advance. Besides, leaving the Conservative Party of New York is out of the question at this point.

What will be interesting is what the Conservative Party will do. They have a line that could be used by a candidate who is not the Republican. I suspect they will endorse the Republican but I suspect that will depend on the candidate.
Thompson is very popular within the NY Conservative Party but will he still be alive by Feb? Depends on SC and Florida.
