Today is the Michigan Republican primary. Of course, the venerable Dr. Russell Kirk was the sage of Mecosta Michigan. He and his family lived at Piety Hill. I wonder who Kirk would have voted? I also wonder how the folks that carry on his legacy at the Kirk Center will be voting? WWRKD?

Mike Huckabee had a big day today. Not only the Crunchy Con but also James Pinkerton (or Elrond Half-elven as he is known to the Council of the West). Interestingly, James Pinkerton is not only a Tolkien man but descends from Covenanter stock. Interesting.

Rod Dreher has made it official. He has endorsed Mike Huckabee. I really admire Dreher and his book Crunchy Cons.
