First Fruits of November
W.H. Chellis
Mississippi delivers first fruits and they are not sweet for the GOP.
November is increasingly looking like a political tsunami. Will the GOP even survive? Or go the way of the Whigs?

The GOP will survive, but it will have to be conservative to do it and many of the party apparachicks are not. Obama being the nominee will not help the Democratic candidates in the rustbelt and the South.

This is only tangentially related, but speaking of the future of the GOP, is there any chance of a review at DRC of Ron Paul’s new book? It is a more impressive production than I first expected.
Peter Hitchens continues to look for the demise of the Tories, so that Britain can have (in his judgment) a real conservative party. Maybe the demise of the Republicans would serve that purpose in the US.
