Support the Troops- Bring them Home

To help raise their families. This is sad stuff.
Can you be pro-family and pro-war (a non-defensive war I mean).

Like Bill Kauffman said that night at the Toad, who ever thought conservatives would be the ones splitting up families to send troops off to Iraq?

I’m sure good men in Israel died going toe-to-toe with the Canaanites when they took possession of the Promised Land. Doing the right thing does not mean good people will not be hurt. I believe that the way to support the troops is by praying that they carry out the war in a just and righteous way and that peace will result from the destruction of injustice. To quote Keith Pavlischek’s article linked below, “The concept of just war, Johnson argues, does not begin with a ‘presumption against war’ focused on the harm war may do, but with a presumption against injustice focused on the need for responsible use of force in response to wrongdoing.”
